Brand new prom dresses have arrived. If you are looking to rent a prom dress, please see Mrs. DiCicco in room 812. 


Attention Cranston East: The literacy department is having a Book Drive for new and gently used books until April 13, 2018.  The books will be donated to kids in need.  If you have any books to donate please drop them off in room 218.  Thank you!


Reflections Literary Magazine will be holding a contest for artwork and photography for our 2018 Edition cover. The contest will run from April 2-April 27. You can drop off your artwork/photography to Mrs.Wahlberg in Room 317 or send as a jpg to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Make sure to include your name and homeroom on your work or on your email. The winner will be awarded a gift certificate to BLICK Art Supplies.


Can you sing, dance or play and instrument? Auditions for Bolts on Broadway, our yearly talent show, will take place on April 11th and 12th at 2:15 in the auditorium. For more information see Mr. Wallace or Mr. Arsenault.


REGISTER TO VOTE! The Cranston Board of Canvassers is holding a Voter Registration Drive at Cranston High School East on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Voter information and registration forms will be provided by staff from the Cranston Board of Canvassers and state elections officials.

Anyone who is at least 16 years of age may register (although you must be at least 18 years old to vote). You must be a U.S. Citizen and a Rhode Island Resident to register. You can also register to vote online at: vote.ri.gov


Attention Class of 2021: We will be having a class council meeting after school on Wednesday, April 11 in the library. New members are always welcome.


The Class of 2019 is selling tickets to the Junior Prom through this week. The cost is $40 per person and tickets may be purchased by submitting the form to Mr. Maynard in room 403 or to the school store during all lunches.


Come and support the Cranston East Band at Chipotle today from 4-9pm!


Any student who is attending the Junior Prom and would like to be dismissed early on the day of the prom, May 4th, must submit a written note from a parent or guardian to the Main Office, by Wednesday, April 25th.   The note will be left in the main office and telephone calls will be made to verify each dismissal. The note  must contain the following information :Your advisory room number, your full name and your parent or legal guardian’s telephone number .Please note that you cannot be dismissed before 11:00 AM or you will be considered absent and will unable to attend the prom. You also must arrive to school on time. Your cooperation is necessary in order for each student to be dismissed accordingly. Dismissal slips will be distributed during Advisory on May 2nd.
