Program Vision

Cranston Public Schools seek to provide an appropriate education
for our high-ability students through a multifaceted enrichment
program, which tailors participation in the program
to the needs, abilities and interests of the child.

Program Mission

In the spirit of the “No Child Left Behind” legislation, the
enrichment program will provide an appropriate
education for Cranston’s talented students on
an enrichment continuum that includes differentiation of
classroom instruction, both individual and small group
instruction, and individualized programming.

Program Goals
•Improve the academic performance of all students
•Provide enrichment opportunities to students according to demonstrated need
•Infuse high level thinking skills and teaching practices
•Into the total school program Assess and document a student’s progress
through an ongoing portfolio of student’s work
