POSITIONS AVAILABLE-2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR: School Psychologist (1.0 FTE)-Secondary Special Educators (4.0 FTE)-Middle Special Educator (.6 FTE)-English Language Learner (2.7 FTE)-Nurse-Teacher (.4FTE)-Guidance (.4 FTE).  ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM:  Alternative Secondary Special Educator (1.0 FTE)-Alternative Middle School Special Educator (1.0 FTE) (Math and Science background preferred for Secondary position)-(Both positions will service an SED population).  CRANSTON AREA CAREER & TECHNICAL CENTER:  Global Economic Management Educator (1.0 FTE) (Business-Social Cert)-Vocational Medical Pathways Educator (1.0 FTE)-(Voc Health Occ Cert)-Vocational Early Childhood Educator (1.0 FTE). SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/$9.00 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS):  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES - $9.00/HOUR. The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

 

SUBSTITUTE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS:  ALL AREAS:  The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position.  Applications and Letters of Intent will be accepted in the Human Resources Office.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED:  Special Education, Middle, Secondary, Early Childhood Special Education; English; Science; Mathematics; World Languages; Physical Education; Art; Music; Library; Nurse Teachers   MUST BE RHODE ISLAND CERTIFIED.

Pay scale is as follows:

                                1-30 Days        Rate = $70.00 Per Diem
                                31-60 Days      Rate = $80.00 Per Diem
                                61-135 Days    Rate = $100.00 Per Diem
                                136 Days or more = Step 1

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED:  Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $9.00 per hour.
