LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE/CHEMISTRY,
DIRECTOR OF FOOD SERVICE/CHEF-REPOST: The Cranston
Public Schools invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of
Director of Food Service/Chef. The
district serves a diverse student population of approximately 10,700
students. The Cranston Public Schools is
a strong proponent of the state-wide Wellness Program and has established solid
relationships with local food producers.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated success in food
management, institutional meal planning and preparation. Must have extensive
experience in financial management or administration. A Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts is
preferred and five (5) years of experience is necessary. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applications and Letters of Intent will be
accepted in the Human Resources Office up to and including Tuesday, February 16,
2010.
SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM/ $8.55 HR. (CAN LEAD TO PART TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS): The Cranston Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Completed applications and letters of intent must be received in the Human Resources Office.

Pay scale is as follows:
1-30 Days Rate = $68.00 Per Diem
31-60 Days Rate = $76.00 Per Diem
61-135 Days Rate = $95.00 Per Diem
136 Days or more = Step 1

SUBSTITUTE SECRETARIES AND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED: Must be available Monday through Friday on an "on-call" basis. Teacher Assistants must have an approved Training Program Certificate and the ETS Para Pro Test or an Associates Degree. Rate: $8.55 per hour.
