TEXTBOOKS
CRANSTON NON-PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS
Residents of Cranston who have children attending non-public elementary or secondary schools may drop off their 2011-2012 textbooks and request textbooks in math, science, foreign language, English, and social studies for grades K – 12 for the next school year (2012-2013) from Tuesday, June 19 to Tuesday, July 3, 2012 between the hours of 8:30AM– 2:30PM. The location for textbook registration is the Horton Bldg., 1196 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI.
In order to make certain textbooks requested arrive by the beginning of the school year, all requests must be in by July 3, 2012. THE CRANSTON SCHOOL DEPARTMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REQUESTS MADE AFTER THAT DATE. Parents or students requesting textbooks must provide the TITLE, PUBLISHER, COPYRIGHT DATE, ISBN # AND AUTHOR for each textbook. Textbooks must be on the list approved by the State Department of Education. Proof of residency, registration, and birth certificate are required. For textbooks that are lost or stolen, replacement costs are required.
Textbooks requested will be available for pick-up after August 13th.
